TOP 5 COMBOS FOR DYNAMITE BATTLE B-183 STANDARD STADIUM TOURNAMENTS
It’s time to take on the competition and win your next Dynamite Battle B-183 Standard Stadium tournament!
With the newer, wider area, and a deeper curvature, Dynamite Battle Beyblades can fly around the B-183 stadium faster than ever before, and make smashing attacks or grind head-to-head at the center of the stadium until only one survives!
Playing on the B-183 Standard Stadium brings plenty of variety to the table, but these combos are some of the most popular competitive Beys you’ll see in WBBA tournaments all across Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, and Asia. In those areas, Takara Tomy’s official rules are known as the WBBA format which allows for a set of 5 combos (with no repeating parts, among other rules), known as a 5G team, that are placed in a specific order. When the match starts, each player reveals their Beys. Each battle earns the player a certain amount of points based on whether you get a burst, KO, or stamina finish. This information will be provided by your tournament event organizer.
This means that when you prepare for your next WBBA or DB B-183 Standard Stadium tournament, you’ll need to put together a team of your 5 favorite combos in a strategic order, and don't forget to practice!
This list features a complete 5G team, butthere is one repeating part: Over.
If you want to build your first 5G team with this list, you'll need to replace that forge disc with Giga or a similarly heavy stamina forge disc. Remember, your 5G cannot have any of the same parts. You can also have 1 dual-spin combo (the general limit is 1 dual-spin per team), and we have selected a nice balance of 2 right-spin Beys and 2 left-spin Beys, although you can have any number of left or right spins Beys as you want. So read on, buy all the parts you need ASAP, and start battling 5G on the EPIC Dynamite Battle Standard Stadium today!
Can You Be Unbeatable?
No combo is invincible nor does it guarantees a 100% win, especially in 5G where the order of your team will keep your matchups varied and somewhat unpredictable. This factor makes the format extra fun and exciting as your entire team’s composition and order make a major difference.
Additionally, launch strength, aim, and technique are always factors along with luck. But with plenty of practice and experience, you can refine your launch style and learn about various matchup advantages and disadvantages.
When participating in a Beyblade tournament, be sure to enjoy the experience and aim to navigate through the initial rounds with as many wins as possible to qualify for the finals. Most of the time this means winning 3 to 5 rounds in the Swiss Format or winning at least 65-70% of your rounds in other formats.
Ultimately, your goal should be to have fun and learn from your matchups. Take notes of how your combos did against your opponents’ combos, their launch styles, combos, and they're arranging the order of their teams.
With that said, let's check out the top 5 meta combos for Beyblade Burst Dynamite Battle on the B-183 Standard Stadium!
BEST TOP TIER META COMBOS FOR DB B-183 STANDARD STADIUM
We’ve put together the top 5 most popular competitive combos in no particular order that’ll give you the best chance of winning most of your matches, getting farther in the event, and possibly winning the entire tournament.
The order of the name goes as follows: Blade / Energy Layer, Core, Forge Disc, Driver, Armor.
*Note on parts: there are different color variations for certain layers, cores, and drivers. Some parts perform the exact same and some parts perform differently based on their color attributes.
1. World Spriggan 1S Over Drift
Comments:
World Spriggan is the most powerful Bey to come out of the Superking series and is like the Perfect Phoenix of the GT era, for all those who are familiar with the GT competitive scene. Basically, even with the power level of the new GT Beys, Perfect Phoenix a top tier combo even though it was from the previous Cho-Z series. What makes this deceptively simple combo so powerful is how thin and light the layer is. Build for pure stamina, its lightweight never bogs the combo down, and the layer has two burst stoppers to nullify almost any burst attack. Drift is an incredible opposite-spin driver, so you'll always want to switch your spin-orientation at the beginning of the match, as per your event's WBBA rules, so that your combos spins in the opposite direction of your opponent's Bey if possible. This will also ensure you take full advantage of World's spin-stealing capabilities, and you'll have the highest chance at getting a final spin stamina finish, or a draw at the very least. Because this combo is from Superking series, it will always be stuck in High Mode when you use DB forge discs.
Difficulty to Launch (Difficult):
You'll need to master a light to medium strength launch, because if you launch the combo too hard, it will fly around the stadium and self-KO or make it easier for other mobile attack combos to KO your World combo. You should always launch towards the middle against opposing stamina and defense Beys. If the opposing Bey is an attack or balance-type, you'll need to launch somewhere near the center and away from your opponent's Bey and away from the KO pockets.

2. DYNAMITE (F) KERBEUS OVER BEARING DRIFT - 6
Comments:
Regardless of the stadium, the original Dynamite layer has proven to be a reliable and consistent stamina layer with good defense as long as you always use the F-gear attachment. The Bearing Drift and Bearing drivers perform better on this blade when used on the B-183 DB Standard Stadium, and you'll want to remain in Low Mode for nearly all your battles. There might be some exceptions, so you'll need to practice and test to see how your combo performs against other Beys in High or Low mode. Regardless, this is the easiest combo to build, setup up, and launch, making it a good option for any 5G team, especially for bladers who are new to Beyblade and/or the Dynamite Battle B-183 DB Standard Stadium.
Difficulty to Launch (Easy):
Launch at high strength, aim for the center against other stamina/defense/balance beys or away from attack-type beys.

3. Wind Hyperion Illegal Bearing’ - 9
Comments:
Wind is the most powerful defense Bey to come out of Dynamite Battle thanks to its perfectly circular shape and slick smoothness, which help deflect attacks from opposing Beys. By expanding the medium weight of the forge disc to the out edges to increase centrifugal force with a lightweight core, this combo has excellent stamina as well. Bearing' is one of the longest spinning drivers in DB and is a perfect choice for this combo. You'll want to stick with a lightweight and solid core like Hyperion since the Bearing' driver has a softer spring than most dash drivers, so want to be careful not to get bursted. The Illegal forge disc also helps generate a good amount of wind to work in tandem with the layer, so it should always be your #1 choice. For most battles, you'll want to start out in High Mode so that you can push down on opposing stamina Beys to wear them down quicker, while trying to mitigate the impact of attack-types in low mode. For the fin positions, your first choice should be upforce (with the colored fins revealed) to help keep the combo's posture upright, but you should also take the time to practice with your Wind combo in a variety of High and Low modes along with switching between upforce or downforce, depending on your opponent's combos. Having all these technical options is part of what makes this Beyblade rock!
Difficulty to Launch (Medium):
Launch at medium strength and aim for the center against other opposite spin stamina/defense/balance beys or away from attack-type beys. If you’re going against another left-spin bey, launch at maximum strength and try to get the first hit.

4. Roar Bahamut Giga Metal Drift - 10
Comments:
The Roar blade is a fantastic defense layer that also has a good stamina balance, coupled with spin-stealing potential against opposite-spin combos. Interestingly enough, this popular combo is nearly identical to the upgraded combo that Takara Tomy put together when they introduced metal drift in the b-190 All-In-One Set. Because Roar is left-spin only, Metal Drift is perfect because it works the way that Drift works in opposite-spin battle, but with the metal cap, it has a slightly stronger spring and increased weight for defense without sacrificing too much stamina. Giga is a top choice for this combo since Giga has a lessened chance of scraping on the stadium floor thanks to its angled edges that taper perfectly with Metal Drift. Since this defense combo primarily relies on stamina to win, you'll want to default this combo to Low Mode during your battles, but as always, test and practice!
Difficulty to Launch (Difficult):
Launch at maximum strength, aim for the opposing beys and anticipate where the opponent will launch and how their Beyblade will move.

5. Guilty Longinus Spread’ Zone’+Z - 2
Comments:
Guilty is definitely guilty of being the most consistent force for attack-type Beyblades since the GT series. The same holds true in Dynamite Battle, and there are several ways to build a strong combo with this blade. The most popular combo brings a balance to the field with the Zone'+Z driver. Zone' is already a versatile driver due its dash spring, good posture balance, and superb stamina thanks to a free-spinning base. When teamed up with the Guilty blade, it allows Guilty to stand a chance in opposite-spin stamina matches. It can be launched to move around freely at the beginning of the match increasing its chances of getting a KO against opposing Beys. The Z-chip attachment can be removed, and many players do so when going against same-spin matches. This is not 100% necessary, but you'll want to test this combo with and without the Z attachment against as many combos as possible to gather data on what the best choice is. Due to the Guilty Blade, you'll want to default this combo to Low Mode, but if the opposing Bey is in High Mode with a heavy forge disc, you might want to switch to High Mode so that your blade will connect with the opponent's blade instead of their heavy forge disc.
Difficulty to Launch (Medium):
Launch at maximum strength, aim for the opposing beys and anticipate where the opponent will launch and how their Beyblade will move. With a stronger launch, the Zone'+Z driver will have increased mobility at the beginning before settling into the middle of the stadium.

Beyblade Competitive Tips
The best part about WBBA 5G is that the combos are only part of the winning formula. Instead of building combos just to counter other combos, which leads to more countering, and so forth, you have to prepare your best combos for the entire field. When you face-off against your opponent, it comes down to the match ups of your team's order and your launch.
One of the most exciting aspects of Dynamite Battle is the mode change gimmick available on every bey. All combos are capable of switching between a low or high mode by changing the placement position of the armor either over or under the core. That's perfectly fine since most stamina combos do better in High Mode.
You might have noticed, one of the missing archetypes from this is list is a right-spin attacker. Another reason why the Dynamite Battle Standard Stadium meta is so fun and interesting, is that Bladers must adapt to a new set of parameters. No longer can you simply slap Xtreme' on a combo and have a winning combo. You'll need to mix things up with other drivers and launch strength, aim, and technique are now more important than ever, when compared to the old B-33 stadium. That being said, many believe that right-spin attackers have a disadvantage on the B-183 stadium, however, we'll go more in-depth on this topic in a future blog post!
As always, keep playing and testing so you can enjoy the fun and competitiveness of Beyblade with your very own personal custom combos! The more you experiment and prepare, the better chances you have of gaining an edge over other bladers, and you might also discover your powerful combos and tricks that no one else knows about yet!
