Beyblade 4TH Gen is COMING.... What if There's Smartphone Controls??

Top 5 Combos For Dynamite Battle B-33 Standard Stadium Tournaments

Are you excited for the next Takara Tomy Beyblade 4th Generation Series?

As you should already know (but if you didn't -- Surprise!) Takara Tomy ended the Burst Series in December 2022 with the Barricade blade, and inscribed the words, "Thank You" underneath the blade. But this isn't the end of Beyblade! They made sure to leave fans with a teaser in the form of a little slip of paper packaged inside their booster with the date, "3/21" which means March 21st.

The other neat secret to this date is that it correlates to the countdown before launching your bey, "3...2...1...Goooooo SHOOT!"

Nothing has been confirmed about a possible 4th generation series, but that doesn't mean the fans aren't speculating! There are some bladers who want to see their favorite series come back in some form, Metal Fight, and that might not be a bad idea.

However, based on Takara Tomy's history, they enjoy innovating rather than repeating. This doesn't mean that it's impossible for Metal Fight to come back, but maybe they might combine Metal Fight and Burst?! How wild that would be to see all metal parts flying everywhere?

Dynamite Battle introduced a larger stadium, and by the end of the series, much larger and heavier Beys. This means that the next generation might be bigger than ever and use new gimmicks.

Technology is always improving so Takara Tomy might want to integrate Bluetooth or wireless capabilities to connect to a smartphone app since everyone uses their smartphones for some kind of social media, gaming, or entertainment. Hasbro has experimented with this concept before, but it was too ahead of its time back then.

Using smartphones to activate gimmicks on a driver or blade would add more elements of skill and timing into your battles, wouldn't you agree?

GT brought the awesome Hybrid and Ignition' drivers that proved motorized drivers are fun, and have advantages, but aren't overpowered. If electric drivers were to be the norm of 4th gen, then that would help equalize the playing field and add a whole new dimension to Beyblade.

Takara Tomy has already incorporated a new feature on their new MUGENYOYO that allows several Smartphone functions. Maybe they'll incorporate this functionality into Beyblade.

Imagine controlling a perfect flower pattern launch from you phone or creating your own attack patterns as you try to attack the opposing Bey. On the flipside, if you're defending, you can maneuver your combo to dodge attacks!

Takara Tomy Beyblade 4th Generation's Impact

One thing's for sure, if a 4th generation is being released this year, it's going to be a long time until it fully takes over. Dynamite Battle will continue to be the main event for the remainder of 2023 most likely because new Beyblades will take time to announce, manufacture, and ship.

This means that even if a 4th gen is announced on 3/21, they can only release one Beyblade and maybe an All-In-One Stadium set at the beginning. And if they release a new Bey every month, it would take at least another few months to even have a complete 5G team or enough parts to be competitive.

The other question is; will Takara Tomy re-introduce a new manga and anime series after?

Characters have always had a major role in the game, and it helps keep players hyped and collecting their favorite characters' Beyblades. If so, hopefully, the story will introduce a brand new theme (please no more mythological beys Takara Tomy) with a wider variety of characters (older bladers, female bladers, etc.) especially since many bladers who started with Metal Fight are in the '20s and '30s.

Ultimately, the hope is that a 4th generation of Beyblades brings new players and also makes everyone aware of all the fun and competition that can be had with prior series like Dynamite Battle, GT Burst, and Metal Fight. It might be hard to get a hold of Metal Fight Beys, but there's still some time to get Cho-Z and GT Beys from the beginning of the Burst series, and there's plenty of time to get all the Dynamite Battle Beys!

Just make sure you order all your Beys from Beyblade Premier so you'll get the FASTEST SHIPPING in the USA for FREE, no matter how big your order!

What are your thoughts on a 4th gen? Do you want to see more of a throwback to Metal Fight or an evolution of Burst? What if the new 4th gen Beys DON'T Burst? Let us know in the comments below!
