FORMATS EXPLANATION
Process: This is the first advanced format with a banning phase, 5G, BeyConquest, and deck format combined. Each blader builds up 5 Beyblades combos with no repeating parts and up to 3 launchers that will make up the deck for the match. There can be no repeated parts within a deck.
When ready, bladers declare they are "set" and present their deck to the judge and opponent. Once inspected by the judge, both players will reveal at the same time which Beyblade they chose to ban from their opponent's deck, then they return the remaining 4 Beyblades respectively. Banned Beys will be handed over to the judge and cannot be used during the match.
Battle Phase: The idea is to get a point with a different Beyblade in your deck. The caveat is that once you win with a combo, it cannot be used again in the match.
The match begins with each blader picking their 1st combo in private from their remaining 4 beys (after 1 got banned from the opponent). After a blader gets a win, the player will hand over his winning bey to the judge and he cannot use it again for the remainder of the match.
In each succeeding round, the winner of the previous battle will pick their next Beyblade first, then the loser of the previous round chooses his counter-pick. The match will continue until one blader scores a point with 3 different beys.
How to win: Score a point with 3 different beys.
Points System: A match win is counted as 1 point regardless if it was an out-spin, burst, or KO.
Out-spin: 1 Point
Burst: 1 Point
KO: 1 Point
Repeating Parts: No. Only one version of a driver. For example, only one version of Xtreme, Xtreme', and Metal Xtreme.
Common Misunderstandings:
Bearing / Bearing Drift is NOT the same driver and can be used together.
Mobius / Bearing Mobius is NOT the same driver and can be used together.
Drift / Bearing Drift is NOT the same driver and can be used together.
Dual Layer / Spin Direction Rule: Only one blade/layer with a dual spin core/chip. Multiple dual-spin blades/layers are allowed as long as only one has a dual-spin core/chip and others have single spin core/chips. Spin direction is allowed. Any mode changes should occur after both players have selected their Beyblades, taking place double-blind if required.
Mode Changes: Mode changes are allowed before each battle starts. If any blader is interested in mode changing, both will turn around and make any mode change.
High/Low Mode
Spin Direction
Removal of +Z/+X attachments
Parts specific as Quattro tip, S Gear fixed/free, etc.
Draw Rule: In the case of a draw, the round will not be replayed. Players will move to the next battle and will reveal their chosen Bey at the same time. Players cannot choose any Bey that has been used previously in the match that also got a draw. They will need to pick from their other Beys.
Process: Build up 5 Beyblades combos with no repeating parts and up to 3 launchers that will make up your 5G deck for the match. There can be no repeated parts within a deck and each player needs to set their deck in the order they want to play their beys from 1 to 5. This order cannot be altered during the battle unless the battle goes past bey #5 without any blader getting 3 points. At his point, the deck can be reshuffled.
When ready, players declare they are "set" and present their deck to the judge in private. Once inspected by the judge, both bladers attach their first Beyblade in secret and the match begins.
How to win: Score 3 points to the match
Points System:
Out-spin: 1 Point
Burst: 2 Points
KO: 2 Points
Repeating Parts: No. Only one version of a driver. For example, only one version of Xtreme, Xtreme', and Metal Xtreme.
Common Misunderstandings:
Bearing / Bearing Drift is NOT the same driver and can be used together.
Mobius / Bearing Mobius is NOT the same driver and can be used together.
Drift / Bearing Drift is NOT the same driver and can be used together.
Dual Layer / Spin Direction Rule: Only one blade/layer with a dual-spin core/chip. Multiple dual-spin blades/layers are allowed as long as only one has a dual-spin core/chip and others have a single-spin core/chip. Spin direction is allowed. Any mode changes should occur after both players have selected their Beyblades, taking place double-blind if required.
High/Low Mode Changes: Mode changes are allowed before each battle starts. If any blader is interested in mode changing, both will turn around and make any mode change.
Draw Rule: In the case of a draw, bladers will proceed to the next Beyblade on deck.
Process: Build up to 3 Beyblades with no repeating parts and up to 3 launchers that will make up your deck for the match. There can be no repeated parts within a deck. When ready, players declare they are "set" and present their deck to the judge in private. Once inspected by the judge, both players turn around and present their Beyblades and launcher(s) to the opposing player. Both bladers attach their first Beyblade in secret; the match begins as normal.
After each battle, the loser is asked if they want a replay. A replay is when the losing player wants both players to keep the same Beyblade for the next match.
This bars both bladers from switching their Beyblade (or mode of their Beyblade) in the next battle.
Replays do not alter the result of the previous battle; a loss is still a loss, but the losing player decides if they want to try again with the same beys.
If a replay is declined, both bladers may switch Beyblades before the next battle. The winner of the previous battle must declare first if they will switch.
If they will switch, they must make their selection, and then show it to the opponent. The loser then has the option to switch their Beyblade for another Beyblade in their deck; however, they are not obligated to.
Any mode changes should occur after both players have selected their Beyblades, taking place double-blind if required.
How to Win: Score 5 points to win the match.
Points System:
Out-spin: 1 Point
Burst: 2 Points
KO: 1 Point
Repeating Parts: No repeating parts within the deck. Multiple versions of a driver are allowed.
Dual Layer / Spin Direction Rule: Dual Spin Layers are allowed, but no spin change at any time.
High/Low Mode Changes: Mode changes are allowed before each battle starts. If any blader is interested in mode changing, both will turn around and make any mode change.
*Draw Rule: In the case of 3 draws in a row, bladers will choose from the other 2 Beyblades on deck in private. (please note this rule is different from WBO)
Process: Each blader selects the BEST Beyblade. Their BEST partner.
How to win: Score 5 points to the match
Points System:
Out-spin: 1 Point
KO: 2 Points
Burst: 3 Points
Dual Layer / Spin Direction Rule: Dual Spin Layers allowed, but no spin change at any time.
High/Low Mode Changes: Mode changes are allowed before each battle starts. If any blader is interested in mode changing, both will turn around and make any mode change.
*Draw Rule: In the case of 4 draws in a row, bladers will be asked to choose a completely new Beyblade without any parts from the first one.
